Obama Lied While Taxpayers Cried!

AIG, the government's newest welfare baby, recently gave close to $200 million in "retention" bonuses to executives in a department they are trying to wind down to close shop. Okay, first of all giving "retention" bonuses to people that are getting the boot is just idiotic and maybe that's why AIG is the largest American corporate loser ($100 billion in one year) EVER! Secondly, the bonus contracts were signed, I believe, a year ago, prior to receiving any corporate welfare. AIG is contractually bound to paying these bonuses, even tho they're ethically unjustified.

There are always two sides to any story and the AIG bonus debacle has just that. On the one side (where I find myself) because AIG is under contract to disburse the "retention" bonuses they should BUT we should withhold the $200 million from the next welfare check they receive. For Congress to demand that AIG withhold payment and violate contract law is completely ludicrous! What's next? We allow Congress to violate Private Property Laws? or how about we just let them have free reign over our life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness?

Side two consists of this: because the American public basically own 80% of AIG, Congress or the Treasury department have the sole authority to cancel any contract and void any lawsuit that might arise from that cancellation. Also, allowing Congress to enact a direct tax of 90% on the AIG bonuses is not only unconstitutional but opens the door for Congress to tax anything and everything as long as its done in the name of "fairness".

And just so you all know, The Triad of Terror (Obama, Pelosi and Reid) are using the AIG bonus crap to throw smoke at what they're really trying to do. They all knew about the bonuses months before it was made public and yet they all deny it and they're "outraged". Bullshit. Senator Dodd wrote legislation in December allowing these kinds of bonuses to be paid by corporations receiving government welfare. The Federal Reserve also knew in December and now Obama wants me to believe that he had not the slightest idea until the average American found out? That is an insult to my intelligence and a flat out lie, Mr. Obama.

The Triad of Terror are using the anger that the American people have with corporate welfare to start a class war. It's the beginning of the dictatorship of the proletariat!!!
